Man from Birmingham arrested in Aylesbury for drugs, weapons and restriction of movement offences

After a stop and search police have arrested a man on suspicion of drugs, weapons and restriction of movement offences.

The stop and search took place in Tring Road, Aylesbury, and police say a knife was found and a drug wipe taken was positive for cannabis.

A 32-year-old man from Birmingham, was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis/cannabis resin), possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, contravening the requirement as to the restriction of movement during the Coronavirus emergency period, using a vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance, driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and committing an act/series of acts with intent to pervert the course of justice.

He remains in custody at this time.
